Epsilon Upsilon Chapter at Arizona State is having their spring initiation on Saturday, April 26. I need one more Alumni Brother to help me with interviews at 10:00am at the Chapter house located at 606 E. Alpha Dr. in Tempe. Investiture will follow at 1:00pm.

I have the interviewing script and suggestions to use during the interviews.

Please call me if you would like to volunteer, have questions or have never done interviews before and are curious.

Nov 2008 Meeting

CORPORATE, CAPITAL GAINS AND INCOME TAXES TO RISE. MORE GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS FOR BUSINESSES. 401Ks TO BE NATIONALIZED AND ADMINISTERED BY SOCIAL SECURITY? THE STOCK MARKET DIVES ON TWO SUCCESSIVE DAYS AFTER THE ELECTION. IS THERE HOPE FOR THE FUTURE?

What is the economic prognosis for the future? When will the stock market recover? When will banks start lending? These questions and others will be discussed when Mr. Robert D. Leinbach, Chief Operating Officer of Walton International (USA), Inc. speaks at the November meeting of the Phoenix Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter.

WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND WHAT CAN WE EXPECT THERE FOR THE FUTURE?

These questions and more will be answered when Major Bryan P. Martyn, USAF Ret. Veteran of Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Bosnia and the Global War on Terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan, speaks at the October meeting of  the Phoenix Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 8, 2008 in the conference room of the Phoenix City Grille restaurant located at 5816 N. 16th Street (southwest corner with Bethany Home Rd.) in Phoenix. Cocktails at 6:00pm, dinner at 6:30 and our speaker at 7:00.

September 2008 Meeting

WITH THE POLLS ABOUT EVEN GOING INTO THE CONVENTIONS WILL SARAH PALIN PULL OUT A VICTORY FOR THE REPUBLICANS?

Randy Pullen, Chairman of the Arizona State Republican Party, just back from the convention in St. Paul, will discuss this and if he feels the control of Congress will weaken for the Democrats when he speaks at the September meeting of the Phoenix Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter.

WILL THE DEMOCRATS TAKE OVER THE ARIZONA CONGRESS AND BE SUCCESSFUL NATIONALLY IN NOVEMBER?

A spokesman from the Arizona Democratic Party will state their case when he speaks at the August meeting of the Phoenix Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at the Phoenix City Grille restaurant located at 5816 N. 16th Street (southwest corner with Bethany Home Rd.) in Phoenix. Cocktails at 6:00pm, dinner at 6:30 and our speaker at 7:00.

Sig Brothers Pep & Sy Katcher and Todd Nelson of Cruz Tequila will teach the fine points of the fiery liquor from south of the border and the challenges of their new tequila import and distribution business when they speak at the May meeting of the Phoenix Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter.
