Kartchner Trip Notice

A FEW TICKETS REMAIN FOR
KARTCHNER CAVERNS TRIP

Tickets are almost gone for Saturday’s (Aug. 18) tour of
Kartchner Caverns in Benson by the Phoenix Alumni Chapter of Sigma
Chi. Only six tickets of the 40 provided us by Sig Jay Ream remain available.

Ream, who is assistant director of Arizona State Parks, will
greet the group and host our gathering. Tours of Karthner Caverns,
accommodating 20 people each, will be at 3:20 and 3:40 p.m. Ream
advises arriving at least an hour before the first tour, which means
leaving Phoenix at roughly 11 a.m.

Tickets to Kartchner Caverns cost $25 each; $14 for admission,
with the remainder being used for a post-tour social hour and for
alumni chapter coffers.

Many Sigs are making a weekend of it by planning overnight
stays in Bisbee and Tucson. Brother Ted Brookhart plans to go as a
single on Saturday and would either appreciate a ride or will
chauffeur others so that he doesn’t have to make the trip solo.

Money will be collected on-site. Be prepared with cash or check
BEFORE the tour as the chapter is writing one check for the group. If
you haven’t paid, you won’t be admitted. The following folks have
